What's new in dashi.

Every release, in plain language. dashi updates itself through the Chrome Web Store — you always have the newest released version.

The toolbar release: dashi now helps on every page, not just the new tab.

  • New: the toolbar popup. Click the dashi icon on any page to capture a thought without leaving it — plain text becomes a note, a leading "-" makes it a to-do, and a time like "call mom 5pm" becomes a reminder.
  • New: Float note opens a small always-on-top note window that stays up while you read or watch — same notebook as the dashboard.
  • New, also from the popup: save the current page for later, get reminded about it in an hour / this evening / tomorrow, pin it to your quick links, and flip Keep Awake, Focus, and Pomodoro with their live state visible.
  • New: Clean tabs spots duplicate tabs in your window and closes them in one click.
  • Sync, hardened: big multi-page boards now fit comfortably inside Chrome's sync quota, and a board that outgrows it falls back to on-device storage, tells you once, and heals itself — dragging tiles on a full board no longer snaps back.
  • Faster and lighter: one storage read per key shared across the whole tab, an instant first paint from a local mirror, and timers that only tick while you can see them.
  • Nocturne's light mode is now a true light palette (daybreak) instead of dark-but-lighter.
  • Small fixes: the habit streak flame no longer collides with the delete button, and reminder chips center their icons.
